Conclusion:
uReach’s uAttendant plan has an expensive monthly fee of $24.99 and doesn’t include any minutes. Also, beware of recurring monthly fees for 800 numbers, vanity numbers and ported numbers. uReach does not offer a free trial but does offer a 30-day money back guarantee and charges your used minutes.
Pricing
The uAttendant plan from uReach costs $24.99 per month and includes 10 extensions. This plan does not come with any included minutes, which could make this service expensive if you use it regularly. They also do not offer an annual prepayment discount.
Phone Numbers
uReach provides free 866, 877 and 888 numbers with your monthly fee but does not offer local numbers. 800 numbers have a $15 setup fee and cost $5.99 per month. Vanity numbers have a $40 setup fee and cost $5.99 a month. Porting your number into the system costs a $40 setup fee and $1.99 per month. They do not offer international numbers.
Online Interface
uReach has an online interface and does not have a setup wizard. The online interface gives users the ability to manage and control their account. You can access comprehensive call logs and make a blocked call list by calling tech support. You cannot record calls. You also cannot store contacts online or import contacts using Outlook. They do not allow you to set call handling rules in the online interface.
Voicemail
uReach allows you to store voicemails online indefinitely and you can opt to receive voicemails via email. You can also opt to receive text transcriptions of your voicemails for an extra $2 a month. uReach even allows you to download voicemails.
Call Handling
uReach does not offer Find Me/Follow Me call handling, which is a feature that forwards incoming calls to all of your different phone numbers until you are reached. One of the main functions of a PBX system is to set rules on how calls are handled when your number is dialed. While on a call, you cannot transfer the caller to voicemail, block the caller, start recording the call, or place the call on hold using just the keypad. They offer call screening but do not offer Do Not Disturb, which allows the user to ignore all incoming calls. You can set up an auto attendant, or custom menu, for callers to decide where they want to be routed, but you cannot define how long someone waits in a queue before the menu redirects the call. You cannot use the PBX system to make phone calls when outside of the U.S. uReach provides above average audio quality that is clear of any static or noise.
Conference Calling, Internet Faxing, and Mobile Apps
uReach does not offer conference calling, but they have Internet faxing that allows you to receive and forward faxes, but this does not meet our Market Standard of sending and receiving faxes. They do not have any mobile applications available for smartphone users.
Customer Support
uReach provides customer support that is available from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. They offer both tutorials and a searchable FAQ section, but they don’t have forums for customers to ask questions.
